benefits exclusively to its members:
Scholarship Awards
The Santa Monica Co-Op also has a strong
commitment to supporting the education of our
youth. Thousands of dollars in funds have been
awarded to local colleges and universities on an
annual basis.
- Annual college scholarships are provided for
high school students to promote cooperative
principles
- The Co-Op aligns itself with non-profit
organizations, such as College Bound, to
identify underserved students and to provide
them with scholarships for 2-year and 4-year
college programs
- Approximately $25,000 - $50,000 per year
in scholarship funds have been contributed by
the Co-Op to help students achieve their
dream of a college education
